Food Trip: Nihonbashitei

When people ask me what my favorite food is I would always tell them sashimi or anything raw. Obviously, I am in love with Japanese food! The first thing I look for in a Japanese Restaurant is Chirashi Don. For those of you who don’t know, Chirashi Don is a rice bowl with toppings such as raw fish (salmon and tuna), crabsticks, sea urchin, squid, and etc. Because of my love for that dish, I am in search for the BEST Chirashi Don in the country!

There are a lot of affordable Japanese restaurants in my country however it’s nothing spectacular because you get what you pay for. But recently I discovered an affordable Japanese restaurant called Nihonbashitei. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I only like blogging about restaurants that are memorable for me. Fortunately, this affordable restaurant in Makati indeed left a mark in my tummy! Hahaha

We only ordered 4 dishes

Ramen If I remember correctly this was P200. I love that the pork was so tender. I am not a Ramen fan but it was delicious.

Spicy Tuna Salad. P200 ++ I didn't like it as much because it was too spicy for me. Also, I found the sauce too many as well. They should have put less sauce and more crunchy tempura bits

Tempura P250 + This tasted so good because the shrimp was big. There batter was enough and did not overpower the shrimp!

If you’re looking for an affordable restaurant that will exceed your expectations then you should try this! 🙂 I’d give this restaurant 5/5 in terms of food. The only downside is that there isn’t a lot of parking spaces. ENJOY! 🙂
