Before I enumerate the highlights of my 2015, I would like to thank all those who subscribed, liked, and viewed my blog. When I started this blog, I was very confused with what I wanted to do in life. I lost a great mentor thus I was thinking about my career—I wanted to do something more than my 8-5 job. I thought of coming up with a blog because I like taking pictures, writing, eating, and travelling. To be honest, I was actually very apprehensive at first because I was scared that people would judge me. I am just very paranoid that way. But because I wanted to document my travels and food trips I woke up one day and created a website.
I actually did not care at the number of viewers because my objective was to help people with their travels—how to budget and give them tips. When I looked at my year end analytics, I was really surprised that most of my viewers came from other parts of the world.
Like I said, I would like to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for viewing my blog. It really means a lot to me. Lastly, I want to thank God for all the blessings he has given me.
So finally, we close another chapter in our lives and welcome another year. But before I welcome 2016, I would like to look back and share with you what made my 2015 really awesome!
- Traveling to Japan alone and visiting 3 different cities

This was one of the best decisions I have made because I learned a lot about myself. I got lost so many times and was really scared but I have learned so many great lessons about the trip. I learned to be independent and strong. I realized that there’s nothing wrong about asking people directions and I learned how to not trust on 3g or LTE. I finally learned how to read maps! I developed a better sense of direction. HAHAHA
- Being one of the finalists in the Pismo Video Contest
I did not really expect this at all.
- Traveling to Phuket with one of my good friends and seeing the beautiful islands
I was able to swim in open sea and ride an elephant for the first time
- Universal Studios Singapore with my boyfriend
We were really lucky that the Battlestar Galactica ride was open. It was the best rollercoaster ever!
- Hong Kong Ocean Park Alone
- Hong Kong with my family
Finally, after how many years, we went to Hong Kong as a family. It was indeed crazy yet fun. We shopped until we dropped. We visited Disneyland together and it was magical.
- Sip and Gogh

I am not really an artsy fartsy person but I enjoyed because I still was able to create a masterpiece haha
- Erwan Heussaff featuring my weight loss story in his blog (Kindly check out the “features” part of my menu)
He featuring me was the reason why I also created my own website. I really wanted to inspire and touch people’s lives.
- Cebu Pacific’s Smile Magazine feature
(Kindly check out the “features” part of my menu)
- Margagoes Logo
Finally, after how many months of wondering what logo would fit my personality I was able to come up with something. Thank you Mimi Hinal for helping me with this!
I am looking forward to another year of adventures, love, and happiness. The question is, WHERE WILL MARGA GO NEXT?
“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Much love,
Marga Bellosillo
Those are some beautiful highlights! Some of my bucket list items look beautiful. I can’t wait for Hogwarts to open up in Universal Hollywood this April.
